Jim Page Campsite

Information about our district campsite in Laughterton

Jim Page campsite is situated in the small village of Laugterton, between Lincoln and Gainsborough. The site is a traditional Scout campsite with wooded areas, a large field, and basic facilities including toilets, showers, small indoor communal areas and a kitchen.

The site is mostly used by Scout Groups within the Gainsborough District area, but we do welcome groups from other parts of Lincolnshire, and beyond. Bookings from non-Scout organisations are welcome on a case by case basis.

The site has some excellent walking routes nearby, and is only 2 miles away from Torksey Lock, and the Fossdyke Canal for those who prefer to use boats or canoes. For those who rely on public transport, the #107 bus from Lincoln and further afield (via the Lincoln transport hub) stops just 20 minutes walk away from the site.

Over the last 12 months, there has been significant investment into the campsite including refitted toilets including waterless urinals, new hand driers, and replacement boilers for our showers to ensure plenty of hot water.
